What Are They Saying About the Book?
Connor
You had to end it that way... Definitely veered from cosmic horror in the beginning to action horror by the end. Still had good vibes throughout. I Dug it quite a bit!

Started reading and got me personally feeling intrigued and trying to figure out the mystery of what’s going on on the hulk. There was never a spot where I felt the story dragged. Also people on the squad getting dusted made it more realistic with casualties close to home like that. Killer story.

Warhulk, freakin awesome!

I don't usually get to read fiction, so when I do, kind of nice to get an advanced copy. I wasn't ready for colonial marines vs WH40K vs Cthulu. Creepy vibe that starts military, goes horror movie, then finishes out survival horror. Characters felt real and so did their pain when someone didn't make it. No time to grieve, just back to being a marine. Not a perfect story but definitely a fun one.

It was like a space action horror movie crammed into a book. I really enjoyed it.

“Don't let anyone but a soldier tell you how to fight a war" was written on the wall in Old Man & the Wasteland. Well, your boys ain't soldiers, they're marines and they're fighters. I liked the point of view for the marines in the story, too. "We fight monsters all the time, the monsters on this boat are just a flavor we ain't tasted yet." The big draw for me was that these were regular troops and not special death super commandos. So... ya got any book two you wanna lay on me?
